The Real Leo A. Nopoulos

 Leo A Napoulos, 21, has been brought into police custody and officially charged for mistreating his roommate's eight-week-old kitten.

 The incident occurred on October 9, at a residence in Algonguin Road in Iowa City and lasted for three hours.

 After the ordeal, the kitten, named Fritz, is slowly recovering. However, he lost one eye and has limited vision in the other. 

 The owner of the cat has rescued Fritz when he was two weeks old and hand fed the defenseless little one until he was old and strong enough to eat on his own. The owner had his laptop on to monitor the kitten's health and activities while he was away.

 His laptop camera caught the entire footage on tape.

 The cat is being treated at a local veterinarian and the owner has no intentions on giving up his kitten.

 Napoulos was released from Johnson County Jail after posting a $5.000 bond.
